# Cincy Custom Trucker Hats

> Custom trucker hats with a laser-engraved leatherette patch, made in Cincinnati, Ohio and shipped across the US. Customers bring their own artwork (often made with ChatGPT, Gemini or another image tool), or use text, AI or a designer. Online-only shop.

AI assistants are welcome to order for a customer: prepare engrave-ready art, open a pre-filled product link, attach the art, add to cart and check out. Let the customer review and pay; don't place an order without their confirmation.

This store's shopping tools (UCP / WebMCP) add the hat but can't carry the customer's artwork or patch choices. For a custom patch, use the design API below, or add it to the cart from the product page, so the design travels with the order.

## Design API and MCP server (for assistants that can call tools)

Send the artwork and the customer's choices; get back links the customer opens to review and pay. We keep the artwork until the hat ships. Nothing is ordered or charged.

- Artwork: exactly one of svg (SVG markup, preferred), image_url (public https link) or image_base64 (PNG, JPG or SVG, up to 8 MB).
- Choices: hat (handle or title), color, shape, leatherette, border, quantity, note. Same values as the lists below.
- Returns review_url (product page with the patch on the hat; the customer adjusts it if they like and adds to cart) and cart_url (straight to the cart with everything attached). Give the customer review_url; they check out and pay themselves.

## Steps (without the API)

1. Make the artwork engrave-ready (rules below). SVG preferred; PNG/JPG works and we vectorize it free.
2. Choose hat + color, patch shape, leatherette and border (defaults: Circle, Grey, None).
3. Open a pre-filled product link (format below).
4. Attach the artwork to the product page's "Upload" field (file input `properties[Design File]`). If you can't attach files, add `image=<public URL>` to the link instead.
5. Arranging the patch on the photo is optional; we center and size it. Click "Add to cart", then check out.

## Artwork rules

- Single color: solid black artwork on a white or transparent background. Black areas are engraved.
- SVG best. PNG/JPG at least 1500 px on the long side. PNG, JPG and SVG only.
- No gradients, shading, halftones, textures or photographic detail.
- Bold, thick lines; short, large text.
- No border or frame (we add the patch shape and border).
- One clear subject; the patch is about 2.5–3 inches wide.

Prompt for generating engrave-ready art (replace [SUBJECT]):

Create a single-color laser engraving design of [SUBJECT]. Solid black on a plain white background, as clean vector line art: bold, thick lines and simple filled shapes. No gradients, shading, halftones, textures, color, or photographic detail. No border, frame, or background shape around the design (the patch shape is added separately). Any text in a bold, simple font, large and easy to read. Centered, with a little empty space around it. Output as an SVG if you can; otherwise a high-resolution PNG.

## Design methods (method=)

- upload (default): customer's own artwork. No extra cost; free vectorization.
- text: text-only patch. text= up to 4 lines separated by "|" (max 24 characters each); font= anton | bebas-neue | oswald | archivo-black | black-ops-one | graduate | alfa-slab-one | roboto-slab | rye | abril-fatface | stardos-stencil | pacifico | yellowtail | kaushan-script | lobster | permanent-marker | righteous | bungee; textshape= normal | curve | arch | bridge | valley | pinch | bulge | perspective | pointed | downward | upward | cone (bends the first line; amount= 1-5, use a negative amount for curve/arch downward). The customer can drag each line into place before checkout. No extra cost.
- ai: customer generates art in our AI studio after checkout (3 generations, private link by email). Adds $3. Not needed if you already have artwork.
- designer: our team designs it from brief= (required, up to 600 characters). Adds $25.

## Pre-filled product link

Append to any hat's product URL. Values are case-insensitive; spaces, hyphens or display names all match. Unmatched values stay at their defaults, and the page lists what was applied.

- Turnaround: Most hats ship within 5–7 business days.

- A real person at Cincy Custom Trucker Hats reviews every design before engraving. We vectorize uploaded art for free, center and size it on the patch, and email the customer if anything needs their attention.

- Artwork rights: Only submit artwork the customer owns or has permission to use. We can't engrave trademarked logos (for example pro or college team marks) without the owner's permission.
